How do I restore my Yarnini Pro purchase?
Make sure your device is signed in with the same Apple ID you used to subscribe. Open Yarnini and go to Profile → Subscription → Restore purchases, or tap Restore Purchases at the bottom of the Yarnini Pro screen. Your active subscription will be unlocked again. No sign-in to Yarnini is needed.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple. On your iPhone or iPad:
- Open Settings and tap your name.
- Tap Subscriptions, then Yarnini.
- Tap Cancel Subscription.
Cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period to avoid being charged for the next one. You keep Pro access until the end of the period you have paid for. Deleting the App or your Yarnini account does not cancel a subscription. You can also open the subscription list from Profile → Subscription → Manage subscription.
Can I get a refund?
All payments are processed by Apple, so we cannot issue refunds ourselves. You can request one from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Account and your data
Do I need an account?
No, an account is optional. As a guest, every feature works, and your projects, row counts, favourites, preferences and profile name are saved on your device only. Sign in with Apple or Google only if you want your progress synced to your account and available on other devices. To sign in, go to Profile → Sign in / Sign up.
How does sync work?
When you are signed in, your preferences, favourites and project progress are saved to your account automatically. This happens when you sign in and whenever you leave the App. You can also tap Profile → Account → Sync now. If you sign in on a device that already has progress, it is merged with your account’s copy. Your profile name stays on each device.
I’m moving to a new phone. What happens?
- Your progress: on your old phone, make sure you are signed in and tap Sync now. On the new phone, install Yarnini and sign in with the same Apple or Google account. Your progress and favourites will come with you.
- Yarnini Pro: sign in to the new phone with the same Apple ID you subscribed with, then tap Profile → Subscription → Restore purchases.
If you used Yarnini as a guest, your progress is stored only on the old phone, and Yarnini does not transfer it. (If you set up your new iPhone from an iCloud or computer backup of the old one, iOS may bring the App’s data across.) Your profile name is also stored per device, so you may need to enter it again.
Can I sign in without sharing my email address?
Yes. With Sign in with Apple, choose Hide My Email. We will receive only a private relay address that forwards to you.
How do I change my profile name?
Open Profile and tap your name (or “Hello, maker”) at the top. Type a new name of up to 30 characters and tap Save. Your name is stored only on your device and is never sent to us.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Profile → Account → Delete my account and confirm. You will be asked to confirm with Apple or Google once more. This permanently deletes your Yarnini account and its synced copy, and revokes Sign in with Apple if you used it. Progress already on your device stays there until you delete the App. Deleting your account does not cancel a Yarnini Pro subscription, so cancel that in your Apple ID settings.
If you only want to stop syncing on this device, use Sign out instead. Your account and its synced copy are kept. If you can’t sign in anymore, email us and we’ll help.
How do I delete the data on my device?
Deleting the App removes everything it has stored on your device. For any other privacy request, email support@yarnini.com. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Patterns
I think a pattern has a mistake.
Thank you for letting us know. Email us with the pattern name, the size and the step number. A photo of your work is helpful too. We review every report.
How do I change the language?
Go to Profile → Made for me → Language.
Are the finished items safe for babies?
That depends on how each item is made and used. Avoid small parts such as buttons and beads that could be a choking hazard, avoid long cords, check items regularly, and always supervise babies. Please read the safety section of our Terms.
